Btech BT21s 3 way scart control switch box.

The BT21-S interconnects any 3 devices: VCRs, DVDs, Satellites, Camcorders, Video Games, Laser Disc''s etc. with push button switches for viewing and recording. It is possible to record from satellite, camcorder etc whilst watching terrestrial TV. Parallel Phono / RCA interface for use with a second monitor or sound output through your Hi-Fi system.

Product Features

DISPLAY ONE SOURCE ON UP TO 3 MONITORS

Connect Video source to Input 2 or 3 as approprate. Connect TV monitors to socket 1, "TV" Scart socket and Parallel Interface Phono (RCA) sockets. Use RECORD Push button "2>1" or "3>1" to view TV monitor on socket 1. To use Parallel Interface Output sockets an aadaptor lead from Scart to 3 Phono (RCA) will be required. N.B. A slight loss may be noticeable especially on older monitors as the BT21-S is passive and has no amplification.

RECORD ONE SOURCE WHILST RECORDING ANOTHER or RECORD 2 SOURCES AND WATCH ONE

Connect Video sources to Inputs 2 or 3 as appropriate. Connect the recording VCRs to Input 1 and the Parallel Interface Phono (RCA) sockets (a Scart to 3 RCA / Phono lead will be required if VCR only has Scart socket). Connect TV to "TV" Scart Socket.

Product Specification

Inputs A, B or C are connected to TV output scart socket via 6 pole push button switches.
Pins 19 (video out), 1 & 3 (stereo audio out), 7,11 & 15 (RGB,SVHS) are switched.
Pin 16 (RGB status voltage) is controlled by the first push button switch.
Pin 8 (Video status voltage) is routed through the "Record " push button switches and is switched out when recording (to enable viewing of another channel).
For recording purposes sockets A, B, and C, are connected via 4 pole push button switches.
Video and stereo audio outputs from inputs B or C are connected to the video and stereo audio input of socket A when the appropriate recording switch is operated.
The RGB switch must be ON when RGB is being viewed.
